Under the weather

Okay, this might not be a photo you would want to remember, but I have wiped Andrew's nose so many times, it is a memory I will have of him for a long time (if such things don't gross you out, you can see a close up of what I'm talking about if you click on the photo). I am very grateful he chooses to come to me to use a tissue rather than taking matters into his own hands and wiping his nose with something else (or as Joshua does, tries to rub his drippy nose on my shoulder!!)

The story of the week has been just this: the kids and I have been sick. Joshua came down with it first, and he was generous to share it with me. One by one, all the kids have succumbed to runny noses and coughs, but it hit me the worst. We missed the Sizdah bedar picnic due to illness.

This, too, shall pass, and in one sense, a slower week to rest and recover has not been a bad thing!

Yay we can leave comments now!! I wanted to leave comments before but didn't since a link to do so until today. :-) Sorry you guys have been sick. I could post a photo of Nadia that would look identical to that one of Drew in the sense of what the area between her nose and mouth looks like. So far Nadia is the only one in our house with the runny nose, and she's too little to try to wipe it on anything yet. She is adjusting somewhat to having me wipe it a million times a day - she used to cry every time and now she doesn't cry nearly as often. Hope you all feel better ASAP!

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that!!! Hope everyone feels better really soon. Last week, Hannah had her third stomach bug since December. It was still awful, and we ended up giving her some medicine from last month's encounter but were able to keep it from infecting anyone else this time. It has been a doozy of a year, stomach bug wise! Love you guys!
